finger or palm prints are ever exactly alike in every detail; even two impressions recorded

Finally…..A Camera That Can See In the Dark Without IR LEDs

A starlit sky is an amazing sight to behold, its intensity and charm can differ greatly

depending on the place you are viewing from the Earth. Starlight and moonlight have

inspired generation of poets, but few people know that the power of starlight and

moonlight has been harnessed by video surveillance technology developed by I VISION.

I VISION’s starlight technology amplifies and maximizes existing light to generate

pictures in extreme darkness. The technology is able to get better low light images without

actively creating visible light. In developing the Starlight technology, I VISION used a

fusion of existing technologies and techniques and packaged them in a way that other

companies had never done before.

The camera consists of two main parts, a CCD and a DSP or Digital Signal Processor.

The CCD takes the picture and sends the information to the DSP, which analyzes and

reproduces of what the CCD has sent it.

Infrared has been used for low light surveillance for years, but this technology has known

to limitations. Overcoming these limitations to give installers a more reliable, higher

quality image was the impetus for I VISION to develop the Starlight series.
