We should not stop gathering together with other believers, as some of you are doing. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other—even more as we see the day of the Lord coming….Hebrews 10:25

OUR PURPOSE… We are called to be a Fellowship of Encouragement in our community.
OUR VISION… With God’s power, we will share hope to our community through encouragement, evangelism, and empowerment.
Surprised to see an empty seat at the Super Bowl stadium, a diehard fan remarked about it to a woman sitting nearby. "It was my husband's," the woman explained, "But he died." "I'm very sorry," said the man. "Yet I'm really surprised that another relative, or friend, didn't jump at the chance to take the seat reserved for him." "Beats me," she said. "They all insisted on going to the funeral."
Remember this season that football is fun, but our ultimate allegiance is to God and His church. "..Upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." - Matthew16:18

A special thank you to all those who helped with the church bazaar!
We are so excited that our total sales were close to $2300! God is so good to have blessed us with this amount to go to missions.
Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box project is coming along really great! It won't be too long until the boxes will be on their way to some
special boy or girl. We appreciate everyone's help with this project as it has been a real blessing.
During the month of September, you will have the opportunity to purchase flip-flops for the children’s boxes. You can purchase these
through Lydia’s at great deal. Also, because there are those who love filling their own boxes, we will have some empty shoe boxes available for you to pick up.
Then you are welcome to shop and fill your boxes with items you purchased.
We are planning to have the Packing Party for the shoe boxes on October 20 at 10 am in the fellowship hall. Please mark your calendars for this fun event!!!!
We are so excited to see all this come together, and we couldn't have done it without your help. I get so excited when I see these children posted on Facebook receiving these boxes.
I receive such a blessing because I know some little boy or girl will be getting one of our boxes. Wouldn't you just love to be there when they get their special box? Me too!!!!
