Kindergarten News

KSH has had the most amazing start to our term. Some of our exciting activities we have done so far

include inviting parents in to the classroom during Education Week to see our hard work, dressing up as

fairy tale characters for Book Week and competing in our first ever athletics carnival! We even hosted the

Kindergarten assembly last week.

KSH continues to have fun learning about fairy tales and has begun writing some descriptions. We can't

wait to see what the rest of our term brings!

PSSA Uniforms

This is reminder that students who participated in PSSA AFL, Netball and Soccer are now required to

return their Greenwich tops to their PSSA teacher.

We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Canteen News

Over the next 5 weeks we will be migrating from Flexischools to Cashless, our new ordering system.

Cashless is a more stable and secure ordering system and is free of the glitches and failures associated

with Flexischools. No more ordering surcharges, no more top up fees, just 1 simple fee per term. You can

even use it for free if you order infrequently. Food photos and detailed nutrition information is also being

added to the parent ordering screen for more informed selections. The menu item prices are also 5%

cheaper than Flexischools.

ANNUAL FATHER’S DAY BREAKFAST – THIS FRIDAY 30th AUGUST

We hope to see lots of families at our annual Father's Day breakfast this Friday 30th August. Fathers,

Uncles, Granddads and Mums welcome! Big thank you to Artarmon Home HQ for sponsoring this event,

and also to Paula at IGA Greenwich for donating our bacon and egg rolls. Yum!

GREENWICH ART SHOWCASE - 2nd & 3rd November 2019

The School will be taking part in the Greenwich Village Arts Trail this year, with an Art Showcase of the

children’s work displayed at the Infant campus. Artwork created at school will be on display along with

an Inspiring Artist section for students who wish to make an artwork at home. The theme this year is

‘Nature’ and can be in any medium you like. See details on the flyer attached to the newsletter.

Refreshments and home baked goods will be on sale for the weary walkers. Volunteers Needed! We’re

calling on the school community to supply cakes, slices, fruit and cold drinks as well as assist on the

day. Goods can be brought up on the day or delivered to the Infants site on Friday, 1st November. Please

label all containers and provide a list of ingredients.
