Thank you for your prayers and financial support that provided the means to reach thousands of kids from pre-school to age 18 with back packs and school supplies for the start of the 2018 school year to 25 locations in 5 states via airplane and vehicles. Fifteen reservations in Arizona, 5 in California, 2 in New Mexico and Nevada, and 1 in South Dakota. In all, 2,977 children were served! Here is a note from a child thanking the team at Thoreau Native Outreach (TNO) and WOF (which includes you!). In another letter from missionaries Ron & Barb Ornelas of the Nizhoni Partnership to the Navajo Nation recounted in part, "It is bittersweet to see a young girl express in her thank you note that 'we needed it badly' when talking about school supplies and clothes. At her tender age, it weighs heavily on our hearts to know that she is aware of the desperation of her family. At the same time, our hearts jump for joy that you have helped this girl not to worry about such things." Pastor Wayne Stephens at Fountain of Living Waters wrote, "Our ministry among the White Mountain Apache Tribe has been blessed by your recent donation of school supplies ... Without a ministry such as yours, we would not be able to give out the necessary goods greatly needed by the Native Americans. And they so appreciate them!" Our Sincere Thanks! September 2018

Friends, you have made such things possible by the grace of our Good Father in Heaven. Our prayer is that these kids will be equipped with the skills to read not only their school texts, but the Bible, and to hear God speaking to their hearts when they read Scriptures like John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Every project we work on takes several months to complete, and now it’s time to get into gear for Christmas Airlift 2018! Our goal is to deliver a small Christmas gift with the gospel message to thousands of Native American children living in remote Reservations in the Southwest U.S. These kids live with meager resources where it’s a struggle to survive.
Please join us in showing the love of Christ and sharing why Jesus came to earth. Your donation will help us provide a small gift, an article of clothing and the Gospel message to a child who may not otherwise receive a gift at all this Christmas. We also need to pay for fuel for the flights to remote Reservations, or when weather prevents our pilots from getting airborne, we will drive the thousands of miles to make these deliveries.
