The L-shaped sofa wraps around the aft bulkhead and faces the Starboard side flat panel TV thatrises electronically out of the counter. The galley and dinette are one step up and featureSub-zero drawer refrigeration and freezers as well as a concealed stovetop andMicrowave/convection oven. Solid brass pulls and gold decorative inlays enhance all of thesatin finished cabinet doors. Moving forward and down you’ll find a forward VIP stateroom witha centerline queen bed and in-suite access to the stbd head. The master is to port and featuresan athwart ship queen bed with designer bedspread and pillows. It has its own private headwith large stall shower, and his & hers cedar lined closets with a lighted mirrored vanity inbetween. Making your way aft you’ll find the full size front-loading washer and dryer cleverlyhidden behind beautiful bi-fold teak cabinet doors. The 54 Super Sport rides on a brand new “rough water” hull design for Ocean. It was designedfor “significantly reduced resistance, less slippage, and improved efficiency at all speeds”. WithOcean’s characteristic sharp entry and wide bow flare coupled with its new "evolved planning"hull, you end up with a smooth dry ride even in the harshest conditions. Even better yet, thisnew hull boasts underwater exhaust and propeller pockets. No more dirty transom and dieselfume smells in the cockpit and you can dock almost anywhere since she only draws 4 feet. Engine Room & Propulsion
The engine room is accessed thru the cockpit and is soundproofed, insulated and finished inAwlgrip paint for easy maintenance. The engines are M.A.N. 1360 V-12 common rail dieselsand the Generator is a 15KW Westerbeke.
A comprehensive package of navigational electronics was installed new in October of 2009. They include Furuno Nav-Net 3D chart plotter, sounder, and Radar, auto pilot, 2 VHF’s, asuperior sounding bridge stereo, and Satellite TV system.
