OUR TRIP TO AUVERGNE BY 5ème 3-4-5

DAY 1On Monday, May 9 th we woke up very early. Our

coach was in front of Cyrano in the town center. Oussama was late but Eddy was first!

We left Sannois at quarter to seven. We stopped twice on the motorway. We had a picnic on a rest area. We arrived in the “Massif Central “at about half past one in the afternoon. The journey was very long. Some pupils were sick.

In the afternoon, we took a cable car and then we went hiking on the «Puy de Sancy ».We went to « Château de Theix »and the teachers gave the numbers of the bedrooms. We unpacked and we made our beds. We had dinner and we played ball. Manolis played the guitar .We went to bed very late

DAY 2On Tuesday, 10th we woke up very early, at seven

o’clock. We got ready and we had breakfast.In the morning, we went hiking. We saw chamois

and frogs we tasted ferrous water. We didn’t like it! It was cloudy and windy but we had a picnic next to a house.

In the afternoon we walked round a lake and we picked flowers for our herbarium. We had a snack near the lake.

We got back to the center and we made our herbarium. After dinner, some pupils played « Loup Garou » in the corridor, other pupils stayed in their rooms. We went to bed late.

DAY 3On Wednesday, May 11 th we woke up very early at

seven o’clock. We got ready and we had breakfast. The teachers divided the class in two groups. One

group went fishing in a lake. We caught perches and little fish. The other group caught insects from a river. We had a picnic near the lake. In the morning it was sunny but in the afternoon it rained

In the evening, we had dinner. Some pupils threw bread and didn’t clear their table and went to their rooms. The teachers were angry so the pupils had to sweep the floor and everybody did a dictation. It was unfair! After the dictation we made our herbarium again. We went to bed very late.

DAY 4 On Thursday, May 12 th we woke up very early at

half past six. We got ready and we had breakfast. The teachers divided the class in two groups. One

group did rock climbing in a gym because it rained a lot. The other group studied the water of the lake of “Guerry”: we measured the temperature and the acidity of the water. We had a picnic at the reception centre.

In the evening we had dinner. After dinner we got ready for the party. During the party, the D.J was Alexis Boucher. Everybody danced and sang. We ate crisps and sweets and we drank Coke and fruit juice. We went to bed at two o’clock in the morning!

DAY 5

It was our last day. We woke up early we were tired after the party .We tidied our rooms and we got ready. We had breakfast.

In the morning we went hiking: we saw a crater at the top of the volcano. After the picnic, we got into the coach and we left. We stopped twice on the motorway. The journey was long. There were traffic jams next to Paris. We arrived in Sannois at quarter past nine in the evening. Some pupils were pleased to see their parents but not everybody!
