A supportive group of volunteers also provide assistance with transport to medical appointments, visits to the shops and library and one to one social visits. If you know someone who would like to

In some instances, last-minute cancellations may incur a cancellation fee. If this fee is applicable, it will be outlined specifically for each outing.

Times of events are approximate and vary according to the distance the driver has to go to pick up clients. We will call you before the event to confirm your attendance and again a day or two before with your pick-up time.

What about payment?Payment can generally be made on the day of the event. Please try to have the exact money as we may not have change available, please note that transport fees are $8 per trip and lunch is usually at your own expense.

Should I bring anything? You may wish to bring a bottle of water and a cushion for your comfort, especially on a long drive. Please let us know if you have any special needs so we can make suitable arrangements. Special needs could be dietary requirements, a walking frame etc.

What about the weather? In summer, we suggest you bring a bottle of water and wear light clothing, sun screen is also advisable. In winter, it is a good precaution to carry a small umbrella and a jacket or warm jumper. Please note, on occasion, we may have to cancel an outing due to bad weather conditons.
