Visit hosannalc.org/volunteer and click on Building and Grounds.

FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN Early in 2016, we will once again be packing meals for hungry children all over the world. Last time we packed over 350,000 meals. This time around we hope to at least double that number. In order to do so, we will need to raise a minimum of $125,000 through your open-handed generosity. Here are three ways to participate financially:

1. Look for a FMSC Giving Box to drop off your donation near the Worship Center doors.

2. Text To Give: Text “FMSCL” in Lakeville or “FMSCS” in Shakopee, followed by the dollar amount you’d like to donate to the number 28950 and follow the one time setup instructions. (If your phone number is in Hosanna’s Fellowship One Database, some of your information may populate automatically)

3. Use a Giving Kiosk at the Lakeville Campus, located in the Atrium.

THIS WEEK’S QUESTIONS FOR FURTHER REFLECTION1. What have you learned about mental illness from this

message?

2. Have you ever had issues with mental health?

3. Read and discuss these passages: Psalm 34:17-20, Isaiah 41:10, Matthew 4:24, 2 Corinthians 12:20

4. What are some of the worst things we can say or do? What are some of the best?

5. How can discussing this topic make us an even stronger church?

OUT OF THE SHADOWS: THE CHURCH AND MENTAL HEALTHAnxiety. Depression. Bipolar. Schizophrenia…Mental illness doesn’t affect just a few-it touches us all. While great advancements have been made in the mental health field, there is still a strong stigma attached to mental illness, which causes many to suffer alone. Jesus Himself cared for the mentally ill and the Church must continue His mission of hope and healing. In this two week series, we’ll bring mental illness out of the shadows, and into the light.
