1. GRADE ASSESSMENT REPORTS Grade assessment reports are consolidated statements of the final examination results of individual

subjects. These reports provide valuable information on the grade distribution of each course and the

grade percentage of two consecutive semesters of academic year 2014-1&2. Grade C & above

compared against Grade D & above as Grade “C” is the minimum overall grade required for a student to

graduate a program.

STUDENTS’ SATISFACTION ON EACH SURVEY QUESTIONS

72.5 percent of Students of business programs across both campuses rated their level of satisfaction as

3,4,5 on the likertscale of 5 where 1 indicates the lowest and 5 the highest level of satisfaction. There

were no significant difference in rating pattern in terms of programs and gender. The satisfaction level is

low on Q12-Q15 related to student-teacher relations.Even though all classrooms are equipped with high

tech teaching equipment yet students express their dissatisfaction. It may be pointing to the use of

these facilities in a more interactive fashion.

Survey shows that, among the members of alumni 69%of males and 14% of females took employment whereas 19% from the males and 16% from females continued high studies in national or international universities. 12% male and 70% female are either unemployed or took self-employment but specific reasons are unknown.

19.6% male and 16.1% students continued higher education in the national or international universities after graduating from the college. Among them 90% received scholarship.

Surveys show high employment rate among male graduates (85%) against that of females (17%). The poor rate of employment among females is due to social and cultural reasons which is gradually improving.

Private sector is absorbing more graduates (60%), due to Saudiazation efforts.

Within one year after graduation, 66% alumni got employment within 6 months, 21% within a year, and 6% after one year or more.

Even though the faculty membersof male or female campues are satisfied with MS Department,there are some issues especially in female campus related to teaching equipment, infrastructure, maintenance and communication mainly due to social constraints.

6. COOPERATIVE TRAINING FEEDBACK Students of YUC(Male) undergo a 14 week of cooperative training in industry as part of the degree program. Each student is allocated a supervisor in industry who guides and assesses student’s performance on behavior, performance and application of knowledge during the program. A total of 15 organizations contributed in the feedback. There was overall high satisfaction on various attributes exhibited by the students while on training.

The grey areas are lack of initiative, interpersonal relations, and performance under pressure, problem solving, attendance and punctuality.

Though enthusiasm and right attitude of work are present, there are some areas that require more immediate attention by counselors and student advisors. They are: independent ability to work, reporting of work done or presentation skills, lateral thinking, judgment, quality of work and interest to learn new things.

The lowest level of satisfaction is for the problem solving, application of the theory and technical knowledge to tackle job problems and writing (presentation and reporting) skills of the trainee students.
