Purchase and download the Outlook plugin file from the

Once the file has been successfully saved to your drive or file system open the setup.exe file. Progress through the setup.exe installer, using the following instructions:

On completion of the installation wizard you may open Outlook and enter the validation license key which was provided to you at the point of when you purchased (this should be a 32 alphanumerical code)

Below id the overview on how to Trust the plugin for the 2010 /2013 / 2016 versions of Outlook.

Outlook 2010:

1. Click the File tab in your navigation menu.

2. Then Click Add-ins.

3. Scroll down the add-ins list and check if SuiteCRM Outlook plugin appears in any ofthe inactive or disabled lists.

4. To re-enable a disabled add-in: Under Manage, click on the drop-down, select Disabled Items and then click Go.

5. Select the SuiteCRM Outlook plugin from the list of disabled add-ins and click Enable.

Outlook 2013:

1. Click on File > Info > and select Slow and Disabled add-ins.

2. Set SuiteCRM Outlook plugin to Always enable this add-in.

3. Close.

Outlook 2016:

1. Click on File > Info > and select Slow and Disabled add-ins.

2. Set SuiteCRM Outlook plugin to Always enable this add-in.

3. Close

Connecting to SuiteCRMTo connect to your instance of SuiteCRM you must configure the plugin to recognise your credentials.

The URL is the URL of your SuiteCRM instance.

The Username is your SuiteCRM username.

The Password is your SuiteCRM password.

On completion, click the Save button.

Manual Email ArchivingYou will have the ability to archive emails from Outlook to any SuiteCRM standard module.To manually archive an email in 2016, right click on any email, navigate to SuiteCRM Archive and click.

When archiving the system will automatically look up the email address and present related records within SuiteCRM that you can archive the email to. You can select which modules to search on as shown in the Modules checkboxes below:

Matching records will be displayed on the left hand side panel. These can be selected and deselected based on which records you would like to archive to and once they have been chosen click Archive. Archived emails will appear in the history sub-panel of the selected records.

Automatic Archiving New inbound emails will automatically be archived into SuiteCRM and associated to records associated to email addresses found in the following address lines:

• From• CC

To set up Automatic Archiving you must access the Settings menu.

Then click the Auto Archive tab. This will provide you with the Auto Archive Specific settings.

The newly revamped interface now allows easy archiving of all your new inbound and outbound emails from your inbox and outbox through 2 simple checkboxes.

File Tree allows users to select which custom folders they would like new emails to be archived automatically to.

Automatically archive from the date field occurs at the earliest date from which mails will be archived. Mails in your Outlook folders older than this date will not be archived unless you manually archive these using the right click functionality. You must then select the Archive to CRM option to complete.

You may automatically archive all inbound and outbound emails by selecting the checkbox.Alternatively, you may limit the automatic archiving to occur only inside a specific folder by selecting/deselecting the checkboxes shown in the below above.

In addition to this you may choose to exclude archiving emails from a specific email address by entering these in the text area. If there are multiple email addresses to be excluded from archive then these are to be semi-colon separated.

Calendar and Contact SynchronisationThe Outlook plugin allows bi-directional Calendar and Contact synchronisation can be set up between Outlook and SuiteCRM. This will synchronise Contacts, Tasks, Calls and Meetings between the two platforms.

Enabling and disabling of the calendars can be found in the AutoArchive tab of the settings.

Outlook meetings, Appointment, All day event, Tasks can sync to SuiteCRM by creating them as normal through the calendar in outlook.

You may stop the sync of a Meeting, Appointment or all day events by clicking the Private button on the calendar object.

For meetings, any email address placed within the “To” field that has a corresponding record in the SuiteCRM will be added as an invitee.

All relevant information concerning calls, meetings and events will be brought across from both applications and will update from both system.

You can also exclude emails addresses you would not like to archive by entering their

address in the ‘Exclude Messages From/To The Following Address’ you can add multiple emails address to this by differentiate between them using either a new line or comma.Enable or Disabling of Contacts can be found in the AutoArchive tab of Settings. Add the ‘Sync To Outlook’ Field to SuiteCRM from Admin > Studio > Contacts > Layout > Edit View/Detail View > drag and drop the field into view.

As standard all contacts in Outlook will automatically sync to SuiteCRM unless they are made private by clicking the private button.

For SuiteCRM to sync all contacts to your Outlook they must be assigned to your user andmust have the ‘Sync to Outlook’ check box selected.

SuiteCRM Address BookYou will be able to view the SuiteCRM address book from Outlook. Thus allowing you to search for an email address from within SuiteCRM without having to open it.

To access your SuiteCRM address book within Outlook when composing an email click on the Address Book button at the top of the screen.

Once you have clicked on the Address Book button you can enter your search parameters. You can choose only to search records assigned to you in the CRM by selecting the Only my items checkbox. After clicking Search the results from the CRM willbe returned in the panel below.

Once you have found the Contact you would like to use, click on the email address and click on the right arrow adjacent to the To/CC/BCC panel depending on which field you would like to populate.

To remove the record from any of these panels click on the item to highlight it in the To/CC/BCC panel, then click the left arrow.

Information and Bugs

When reporting issues please relay the relevant version of Outlook Plugin you are experiencing the issues with. Version information can be found under the Information tabin settings. This provides the version number of the plugin and the File Path for logs to trouble shoot any problems that may be occurring.
