OUTRIGGER PAD RACK GUIDELINES When using the OPR, the user must understand the precautions necessary for safe installation and use. The points listed below will assist you in using the rack system and will encourage safety. Ÿ For quality fit and safety, use only the recommended attachments as shown in Raptor Tech's current Installation Guide. Do not assume a rack will fit, always check the current Installation Guide or call for guidance when obtaining a new crane. Ÿ Unless stated otherwise in these instructions, do not carry more than 450 kg (1,000 lbs.) on Raptor Tech racks. Raptor Tech cannot warranty loads that exceed this limit. Ÿ Raptor Tech racks do not enhance or increase lift capacities of any crane. If operating the crane with the rack loaded and not in the vertical stowed position, an appropriate deduct must be made from the crane lift capacity chart to account for both the rack and items carried on the rack. Ÿ Ensure that all bolts and attachments between rack and crane and on the rack itself are secure prior to each use. Pins, bolts, screws, and straps must be periodically inspected for signs of wear, corrosion, and fatigue. Ÿ Be aware of the width and height of the rack and its cargo prior to crane operation since counterweight and above ground obstructions may be impacted when moving the crane. Ÿ Never travel with the rack in the stowed (upright) position. On rough terrain it may be necessary to tie down items being carried on the rack with straps (supplied by others) to prevent loss of cargo. Ÿ Remove your Raptor Tech rack and accessories prior to over the road transport on a low boy. Damage to the rack system may occur if not removed prior to loading onto trailer. Ÿ For safety to your crane and rack system, read and fully understand the instructions included on both the Installation Manual and the User Manual for this device. Copies of the manual can be obtained at our website, by telephone or mail – see contact information on this sheet. Ÿ Adapt your driving speed to the conditions of the terrain and the load being carried. Ÿ Do not use Raptor Tech racks and accessories for purposes other than those for which they are designed. Failure to follow these guidelines or product's instructions will void the warranty. Ÿ Consult with Raptor Tech if you have any questions regarding the operations and limits of Raptor Tech products. Review all instructions and warranty information carefully. Ÿ Not for use on public highways, trailers or towed vehicles.
