Burnout - An increasing hazard

• Since 2000 burnout in GPs increased 5 x(Source: Local Medical Committees 2013)

• 70 % feel disengaged at work (Source: Gallup 2014)

• Increasing job turnover – up to 25%(Source: US office of labour statistics)

• 1380 cases per 100,000 workers of work related stress, depression or anxiety(Source: HSE 2014/2015)
