Our combination of classroom

training and practical hands-on

ensures maximum learning for

your personnel. Kistler has the

capacity to train up to 16 personnel

in our own training facility. Howev-

er, we often provide training at our

customer’s facilities. Anytime—

Safety Saves Training Crane Operator Training

Kistler Equipment offers this course

on the 1st Tuesday of each month.

Any new employee who will be oper-

ating overhead lifting material

(cranes and hoists) will benefit from

this class. We realize that there is

turnover in your staff regularly. We

created this monthly class to provide

our customers with an easy alterna-

tive to ensure they get the appropri-

ate training to new personnel as

soon as possible. Coursework will

cover regulations with a heavy em-

phasis on pre-operational inspection

requirements, operator responsibili-

ties, proper lifting techniques and

equipment familiarization.

Train—The—Trainer Kistler also offers a much more in

depth train-the-

trainer class for

crane operator

training. This is a

highly customiza-

ble class that can

span 1-2 days depending on course

content developed between Kistler

Equipment and our customers.

Content often is a combination of

operator training, basic rigging, rig-

ging gear and sling inspection. In

addition, we can provide training on

our customer’s particular policies as

they relate to training requirements

for new operators, lift plans, fre-

quent and periodic inspection re-

quirements (including paperwork),

homemade below-the-hook lifting

devices, and load testing.
