ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR HONORS & SCHOLARS

Honors & Scholars affiliation is awarded on a competitive

basis to students admitted to the Columbus campus for

the autumn semester following high school graduation.

Admitted students typically have exceptional academic

records; impressive essays demonstrating analytical,

critical and creative thinking; quality extracurricular

involvement showing genuine commitment and leader-

ship; unique talents or abilities; and a willingness to

embrace diversity in both ideas and people.

service, the Morrill Scholarship

Program offers scholarships and an

amazing range of enrichment opportunities.

MSP is awarded on a competitive basis to students

If we receive your complete application by our November 1 early action deadline, you will receive an admission decision by the end of January. This deadline is non-binding, meaning you are not making a promise to attend Ohio State if you are admitted.

Tuition and fees will vary depending on the mode of instruction (on-campus, online) and the program of study. Ohio residents: Your tuition, general fees, and room and board costs are held steady for four years as part of The Ohio State Tuition Guarantee.

Room and board shown is anticipated cost of the most popular plan combination. Students should anticipate additional expenses such as books, supplies, travel, recreation and personal items. These expenses are considered when determining financial aid awards.
