OVERVIEW
WHAT IS THE OFFICE OF SPONSORED PROGRAMS?
(OSP) The Office of Sponsored Programs is the centralized unit
tasked by the University with the coordination of research and sponsored programs activities campus wide.
The Office provides leadership, information, services, and support to the University community: faculty, research associates, students, and staff in the acquisition and administration of externally funded projects in furtherance of the instruction, research, and public service mission of the University.
The function of the Office of Sponsored Programs is to ensure the integrity of the accounting and administrative information and to ensure that the University complies with the regulations and guidelines of sponsoring agencies and institutional policies and procedures.

1st Week – Review Guidelines, Policy Manual and Make Initial Contact with Potential Partners
2nd Week – Research and Write Following the Narrative Sequence; Follow Through on Partners
3rd Week – Forward an Electronic Copy of Narrative; OSP Pre-service Provider and Budget Specialist
4th Week – Finalize the document
Submit the proposal with a signed OSP Routing Form at least 7 days Prior to the Deadline.

Attention: Salome Amoussou at least one week prior to the deadline.
OSP will review and forward to OGC.
OGC will return with comments or approval.
If revision is required, the MOA/MOU will be returned to the PI for corrections.
PI will make corrections and return to OSP.
Upon approval by OCG, the sign-off process will be initiated and completed.

Submit the entire package with the signed (PI, Chair, UDC-CC Provost)Routing Form to the Office of Sponsored Programs

sign-off (i.e. OSP Director, OGC, HR, CAO) If changes or corrections are required, you will be notified
immediately. The document will be returned to you for change/correction. As soon as the changes are made, resubmit for review and
signature. Upload all sections of the proposal as required and notify JoVita
Wells at [email protected] that the proposal is ready for submission.
Provide contact information. You must remain available until the proposal is officially accepted by the agency.
