Introduction

The new Dedicated Micros DV-IP Server is a high

performance scalable hybrid DVR designed for professional

surveillance applications.

New capabilities include: local control, new enhanced user

interface, embedded NetVu Console, AnalyticsCapable

external SATA storage expansion

Unique TransCoding architecture to optimise streaming

depending on network topography

Local Control

Operators can access connected cameras locally using an attached control device and standard definition monitor output

Local and remote user interface are identical to reduce operator and installer training and maintenance time

Control can be achieved using a wide range of methods including the KBC1 & 2 keyboards, a USB Mouse, USB Keyboard and the included Infrared Remote Control

Of course as a NetVu Connected DVR, the DV-IP Server can also be viewed from devices such as Pick-A-Point, NetVu Console and NetVu Observer


Embedded NetVu Console

The DV-IP Server is equipped with a built -in sophisticated Video Management System

Embedded NetVu Console control means that you can connect, view and control up to 1980 mixed analogue and IP cameras: 20 systems Up to 8 servers or DVRs on each system 99 cameras available per system

Camera selection can be simplified by using camera selection maps


Using the Embedded Console, an Operator can view and control the locally connected cameras

AND the cameras connected to Remote Server 1

AND the cameras connected to Remote Server 2

AND up to 20 systems comprising up to 8 DVRs per system with up to 99 cameras per system – max 1980 cameras

Enhanced User Interface

The DV-IP Server contains the complete range of new Enhanced User Interface common to all Gen3 servers and encoders deployed by Dedicated Micros

Implemented across the new range of DV-IP products (DV-IP RT, DV-IP HD, DV-IP Express and DV-IP Server) and HighVu Excel

Features include: Camera Selection Maps Colour Coded Menus Point&Go* Video Timeline control of playback video Absolute Positioning* Electronic PTZ (ePTZ)

* Absolute Positioning & Point&Go require a Dedicated Micros Oracle Dome connected to a Next Generation DV-IP product that has the enhanced user interface


Camera Selection Maps

Use bespoke graphical maps presented on your local monitor screen to navigate around your CCTV installation.

Ideal for quickly identifying camera locations around a site or CCTV infrastructure

Select the relevant camerato instantly connect to that cameras image stream

Load bespoke map imagesand floor plans onto the DVR to reflect the installation.


Point&Go

Point&Go* provides the user with easy to use, fast, accurate telemetry control via an attached monitor.

Perfect for remote and IP based applications Use the Pan & Tilt control of a DM Oracle Dome simply by

clicking an area of the monitor The camera will instantly respond, to any selection positioning

the selected area in the middle of the screen Ideal for tracking movement through a scene. Removes network latency problems



Absolute Positioning

Absolute Positioning* combines the functionality of Camera Selection Maps with the deep integration of the Oracle Dome

Select and move cameras to any area of the site simply and quickly Click in the area around the cameras location The screen will switch to the cameras new view The further away from the center of the

cameras location you click, the more elevated the cameras view will become

When combined with Point&Go* it provides powerful and rapid visual control of your cameras



Electronic PTZ (ePTZ)

Dedicated Micros Electronic PTZ uses an advanced image ‘interpolation’ algorithm that reveals detailed information that simple pixel-stretching digital zoom commands cannot.

Move around the scene and zoom in/out using the associated keyboard or remote control – even on static analogue cameras.

Combined with Dedicated Micros CamVu2000 Megapixel camera gives the user access to incredible detail.

Electronic Zoom can be carried out on both live and playback video

Provides the ability to retrospectively control and view an image as if it were a live PTZ dome or camera


Video Timeline

A new on-screen intuitive interface for the control and navigation of playback video

Revolutionary method of getting to the video you need fast Simple mouse operation to click on the timeline to get to the

time you want Control the video forward or backwards in incremental steps

of seconds, minutes, hours, days and weeks Ideal for the rapid search of captured video


Megapixel & IP Images

IP Streaming & Recording Seamless recording & display of IP video streams from IP cameras,

IP domes, encoders and other NetVu Connected DVR’s Seamless Transparent Telemetry control View and record IP sources, irrespective of the devices’ location IP Streaming and Recording provides viewing and control across all

connected IP cameras, seamlessly displaying them with analogue sources through a connected monitor.

Megapixel Recording Recording high definition megapixel camera images Displayed in standard definition on an attached monitor With the addition of ePTZ users are able to zoom into the detail of

an attached megapixel camera with incredible clarity

AnalyticsCapable

AnalyticsCapable products can be upgraded by software, to run a range of

DM video analytics solutions including; Object Left/Removed, Object

Counting, ANPR and Intrusion Detection / Perimeter Protection

Developed within the our own in-house development team, our analytics

technology seamlessly integrates with a range of our NetVu Connected

DVR’s – including the new DV-IP Server

Seamless control and viewing from a single platform - NetVu ObserVer

As the DV-IP Server is already AnalyticsCapable, users can upgrade their

CCTV solution with analytics capabilities whenever required without having

to redesign their system or add on expensive disparate 3rd party systems

Available via a software license upgrade
