Nature walk! Pick up some nature treasures when you go on

a walk, can you make a picture with them when

you get home?

You can look at the leaves of a tree to find out what type

of tree it is. When you go on your walk, have a look at the

leaves on trees and see if you can name some of the trees

in your local area.

I think this is a sycamore leaf, look at it’s pointy edges.

Can you make a paper boat?

Use a piece of paper to make a boat. Does it

float? How many passengers can you put

inside?

Trees have different leaves. They are different shapes, colours and textures. Collect some

leaves when you are out on your walk. When you get home use them to do some leaf rubbing.

Put your leaf under a piece of paper and hold it still. Use a wax crayon and rub it over the

top of the leaf. See the pattern appear on your paper.
