Library Services Administrator (Part Time) The OUP Library seeks to appoint a Library Services Administrator, who is capable of playing a key support role in its services to the Press. The Library is currently responsible for maintaining a collection of OUP’s publishing, and supporting the Learning and Development Department in providing development resources for staff. It is also responsible for co-coordinating the provision of OUP’s product data to the book trade and managing the copier, paper and stationery accounts for the Press.The Library is currently undergoing significant changes, with the aim of moving it from a static, book based collection to a dynamic, online, business information resource.You will provide full administrative support to the Library and its services, supporting the Information & Library Operations Manager, particularly in the following areas: • the Press’s copier, stationery and paper accounts • the Library’s day to day administration which includes dealing with invoices and credit card statements and the development and implementation of new administrative systems and procedures where appropriate • the management of the Library space. The Library is due to undergo a redesign and refurbishment in 200/20. The successful applicant will be an adaptable, well organised and numerate administrator who enjoys problem solving and working in a changing environment. They will possess an eye for detail, the ability to deal positively with people at all levels and have a customer-focused approach. They should enjoy working as part of a small team but also be confident in working independently and prioritising their own workload. Previous experience of office administration and stationery management is desirable.This is a part-time role of 2 hours per week.
