Bid documents must include a certified B-BBEE status level of contributor certificate from verified and accredited agencies. B Khenisa - Municipal Manager Rustenburg Local Municipality, Missionary Mpheni House, PO Box 16, Rustenburg 0300 Notice No: 119/2015 NOTICE TO RESIDENTS RLM’s new dumping site Proviant Restaurant is like visiting family Kindly be informed that water restrictions have been enforced at Bospoort until the level reaches 50%, thus affecting areas of Boi- tekong. The level is now at 3%. Further kindly be informed that pumps at Townlands station have stopped due to low suction pres- sure, thus affecting water supply to areas of Tlhabane West. The Municipal team is working on the situation. We, the Rustenburg Local Municipality, regret the inconvenience caused. Rustenburg – The closure permits for the Townlands dumping site were issued on 21 May 2015. The new site at Waterfall would replace the one closed. Platinum Weekly sent Thapelo Matebesi, municipal spokes- person, a list of questions on 23 September. We wanted to know whether the new facility has been approved by Gov- ernment and if licence require- ments have been met, when it will be opened for use, what the cost is, how far along the closing of the old site is, when LW ZLOO EH ¿QDOO\ FORVHG DQG KRZ much its rehabilitation will cost and what the legal require- ments for closing a rubbish dumping site are. On Monday, 5 October Andrew Seome, Co-ordinator: Inter- governmental Relations in the 2I¿FH RI WKH ([HFXWLYH 0D\RU (IGR Unit), responded. He only stated the Waterfall site is licensed as G:L:B (General ZDVWH /DUJH ODQG¿OO VLWH /RZ Leachate). The operation of the site will depend on the ap- pointment of a service provider and the closure of the old site depends on the opening of the new site. None of the other questions could be answered. Rustenburg – Proviant Restau- rant is a truly South African res- taurant that reminds you of visit- ing family for Sunday lunch – it is therefore far more than just a restaurant. This “Plaas with Class” is located at 206 Beyers Naude Drive and it is unbelievable that such a great relaxed vibe can be created in the heart of Rustenburg. Perhaps the reasons why it feels like you’re visiting family include the unique furniture at every table and the delicious home-cooked meals with two vegetables. True boere- kos. Maybe it’s the fact the restaurant is a family business, owned and run by two sisters that the chef’s special differs every day, and like visiting Ouma, the deserts are to die for. Whatever the reason, Proviant is a phenomenal restaurant where every meal feels like a home cooked dinner. They are licensed and have handpicked a selection of proudly South African wines to go with their proudly South African food. They can host ap- proximately 70 guests and have ample, secure parking behind the restaurant. Thanks to their Big- screen TV’s, Proviant is the per- fect place for watching the rugby! Starting Monday, 12 October, they will also offer their great home- made style ‘to-go’: The Tuis- nywerheid will offer warm meals and platters that you can book in the morning and simply collect on your way home. They also cater for special occa- sions and will be opening earlier than usual for 16 October’s Boss Day when employees can treat their boss to a Boere Breakfast for only R80 per person… If you would like a truly romantic dinner, they also offer small inti- mate dinners inside their wine cel- lar. (Be sure to book in advance, so that they can create the perfect romantic setting for your special evening.) Proviant is open seven days a week from 11:00 until 22:00 (with the exception of Sundays and public holidays when they close at 14:00). If you like the furniture or the paintings, you may even have that (exactly like when visiting Ouma) because nearly everything is for sale at Proviant. But don’t take our word for it, go stop by the restaurant and see for yourself. It is like visiting family. To book, call 014 592 1886.
