Its been a busy Spring Season, but now the long hot summer is upon us. Now that Grand Lodge is over our WM Mark Brewer is now officially a Past Master...Congratulations, Mark The proposed legislation went very well and the new electronic voting sped up the process. Soon we will be receiving the plastic dues cards which will make it easier to check visitors and to pay dues. Time brings about change and it seems that anything electronic is on fast track.

We all must accept that we must be learning every day, whether it be a new part in a degree or a new app on our phone. If we do not learn we are left behind.

I am so happy that our Mentoring Program is going so well! Mentoring is not just the lesson before the degrees, its all about having fun with new friends. It includes being with the mentees at least twice a month, just to have fun and fellowship. Fun is instrumental in forging a connection with the lodge and greatly increases the numbers of new Masons who attend lodge and are active.Masonic fun night second and fourth Wednesday at 7:00PM. Everyone, Brothers, girlfriends, wives, non Masons and the mentees are invited to "hang out" with no work to do but just have fun. We sit around a fire pit, go bowling, play cards, go to dinner or just about anything at all. Sometimes we throw in a little learning when the group wants it. 'Along with mentoring, we have Masonic Education at every Stated Meeting so that new and tenured Brothers can learn something to enrich their experience. Bro. Tom Davie has taken us on a tour of the Landmarks of our Craft and the rules of Masonic Etiquette. I am focusing on the theme of Masonic Spirituality, always present in our ritual and our Work as a Mason. Come join us on Fun Nights and in Lodge. We just may be Florida's most interesting Lodge!

Chaplain’s Chat Rev. Bro. Dore' Patlian

Freemasonry is a system of morality exemplified by symbols of the Mason's craft and by stories that teach a moral lesson (allegory). We believe in the brotherhood of all mankind and that all men and women are created by the same Great Architect of the Universe (God) All are equal in rights and inherent human worth even though we are all unique in ability, talent and personality.Living a moral, loving life is the high road to life everlasting for we never, no never die.

“If any brother knows of a Brother or his family who is experiencing sickness or distress, please contact Bro Dore' Patlian at 941 320-8291 (call or text) or e-mail me at [email protected].

The Heart of Freemasonry Is Always Open.

A letter from Tina Baum, wife of Past Master Brian Baum: Thank you so much for helping our family when we are in need. Brian is doing a little better but still has a very long road ahead. We are currently waiting on an evaluation from the Brain and Spine Program to get his disability because his injuries have left him unable to work. He has paralysis in his left arm and leg. Thank you Brothers from the bottom of our hearts for your love and care.
