In the Catholic Church the reception of Holy Communion is a mark of formal union with the Church. Catholics who are disposed and who have prepared themselves through regular sacramental confession, prayer, and fasting are permitted to present themselves for Communion. We encourage our guests to use this time to make a spiritual communion in their heart and to join us in our prayers and hymns. Please feel free to ask questions before or after the Mass. We are glad to talk and pray with you!�

Sacramental Preparation Matrimony: Please contact the Parish Offices at least eight months in advance to schedule the wedding and begin the marriage preparation program. Information is on the website.
Baptism: Please contact Parish Offices at least one month in advance to complete the Baptism Request Form, schedule a date, and schedule a meeting with Father Carlson for sacramental preparation. Baptisms are generally held after Saturday and Sunday Masses at each parish.
Confession: Confession Guides and Examination of Consciences are available outside the confessionals and on the website. Confessions can be scheduled anytime (even anonymously) through the parish office. Regular confession times are found on the first page of this bulletin.
Anointing of Sick: Please contact parish office to schedule. If admitted to the hospital, please be sure at check-in to register your faith and your parish. In case of medical emergency, please call the parish office at any time and follow automated directions for emergency calls.

Emmaus Days�Emmaus Days is a summer program for young men sponsored by the Diocese of Peoria. In a spiritual, fun environment, participants become more aware of God’s presence in their lives and excited about living their faith. ADA Update�
Thank you to those who have already responded with your gift or pledges to the Annual Diocesan Appeal! To date, we have received $5,516 toward our goal of $46,917 at St. Hyacinth, and we have received $6,553 toward our goal of $35,022 at St. Patrick. We must reach those goals or be responsible to the diocese for the remainder that does not come in through pledges. Para recibir y celebrar los sacramentos dignamente debemos prepararnos espiritualmente con la oración y la confesión. También tenemos que completar los registros requeridos y programas parroquiales. Bautismo �Los padres y padrinos deben ser miembros activos y registrados de una parroquia católica. A lo largo de los siglos la�Iglesia�y los santos han animado a los fieles a amar la Eucaristía, e incluso hay quienes han dado su�vida�por protegerla. Hoy en la Solemnidad del “Corpus Christi” te presentamos 10 cosas que todo cristiano de saber en torno a este gran milagro: �1.Jesús instituyó la Eucaristía “Tomen y coman; esto es mi cuerpo…”�(Mt, 26, 26�28).�2.La palabra Eucaristía, derivada del griego�ε?χαριστ?α (eucharistía), significa "Acción de gracias" �3.Cristo se encuentra de forma íntegra en el Sacramento del Altar El� Concilio de Trento (siglo XVI)�define claramente: "En el Santísimo Sacramento de la Eucaristía se contiene verdadera, real y sustancialmente el Cuerpo y Sangre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, juntamente con su Alma y Divinidad. �4.�Los sucesores de los apóstoles convierten el pan y el vino en Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo �5.Se debe recibir la Eucaristía al menos una vez al año �6.Para comulgar se necesita del ayuno eucarístico y confesarse �7.Es Mandamiento de la Iglesia asistir a Misa domingos y días de precepto �8.La Eucaristía es alimento espiritual para enfermos y agonizantes �9.�La fiesta del Corpus Christi se celebra�el�jueves posterior al domingo de la Santísima Trinidad �10.También es posible celebrarla el domingo posterior a la Santísima Trinidad� �
