1. POWERBOAT P1 MANAGEMENT LTD
Powerboat P1 Management Ltd is the rights holder for P1 SuperStock USA. We have nine years’ experience in delivering over 95 world championship races in 12
countries. Powerboat P1 Management Ltd also owns the rights to:
Powerboat P1 SuperStock UK Championship
P1 AquaX P1 RIB Championship
In 2011, Powerboat P1 Management expanded into Jet Ski racing in the UK. P1 USA, manages all aspects of racing throughout North America. Powerboat P1
Management Ltd works closely with the sport’s governing body, the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), the National Marine Foundation, and the wider
marine industry in developing the sport of power boating. Powerboat P1’s mission is to promote the SuperStock platform and turn it into a
world championship. P1 is committed to rolling out the Championship in other European countries and continents in the next few years. A world championship
would then follow with the best teams and pilots moving up the ranks. P1 SuperStock is a major sporting festival over five to eight weekends from April to
Sept. There are multiple races over the race weekend last 30-45 minutes each. The events attract thousands of spectators, and, as the race courses are close to shore
and tight and fast, it’s a great spectacle. It’s also a serious challenge for the teams. In 2011, the series became an international event with the series rolling out in the
USA. In 2012, SuperStock will be exported to Portugal, India, and Dubai and it is envisaged a further 4 territories will be added in 2013, including China, Brazil,
France and Singapore. Each country will have its own national league. International racing will be promoted through continental championships leading up to, in time, a world cup style tournament.

MATCH RACING
The Match Racing Competition (MRC) is based on head-to-head elimination competition between two boats over set parallel courses approximately 750m in
length. The course is divided in the middle by a series of central splitter buoys. The course for each boat consist of a lane of three buoys positioned in line with one
another and spaced at intervals of approximately 0m, 250m, and 500m.
Depending on the number of competing boats, a qualifying session may run with teams required to set an individual lap time over the course. The slowest boats will be eliminated, leaving only the top eight boats which progress through the actual
MRC, creating a natural quarter-final, then semi-final, and ultimately the final pairing to determine the winner.
The MRC winning boat secures pole position for the endurance racing on Sunday.
NOTE: Match Racing may take on various formats depending upon the specific venue. Variations will be identified in the racer bulletin and racers briefing. Other
variations may include an eliminations format of sprints or “drag races” to determine a single winner of the match race.

6. PRIZE PURSE
A prize purse is what separates a hobby from a professional motorsport. The SuperStock Championship prize purse is intended to incentivize teams and the provide assurances to event promoters that they will have a professional show, with
a potential season payout of nearly $233,000 plus contingency awards.
The purse is also structured to support those that teams that take an ownership position in their race team, by providing double the purse payout for those that own their P1-28SS Panther rather than lease it. The Prize Purse Matrix below outlines
the structure of the payouts based upon the number of entries at each event, including the season finale where owners are eligible for 5 times the purse payout
of lease boats. P1 USA will also post a prize purse for other classes at selected Grand Prix events.

8. APBA LOGBOOK
As a part of its inscription in the Championship, the Team shall provide the Championship Promoter with a fully completed
Technical Logbook, containing full details of the Boat and all relevant equipment, with the signature of the Team Manager
signifying the accuracy of the information contained therein. The Technical Logbook may be of the type provided by various
suppliers, including Summit Racing, and is to be updated with any and all repairs and/or service work performed on the boat,
engine, or related safety equipment of the boat. The Logbook is intended to be an ongoing service history of the race boat and may
be updated by offices related to penalties, technical infractions, etc.
15
9. P1-28SS “PANTHER”
This boat features the top technology in hull design, safety ergonomics, data acquisition, and environmental stewardship.
Construction materials include bi, tri, and quad-directional knitted fiberglass, with Kevlar utilized in selective areas of the cockpit area for added impact-penetration
protection. Composite core and stringer materials control weight and simplify the lamination
process, with vinylester resin to bond the matrix. The boat’s 100 percent composite construction makes the boat impervious to rot and the associated structural
ailments that accompany wooden components while yielding a completely unitized structure for endurance and safety.
The cockpit design was engineered to provide many of the elements of an enclosed cockpit in a “commercially viable” open-cockpit configuration. The cockpit liner is
integrated into the deck component, independent of the hull sides. The space between the cockpit liner and the hull sides is supported by bulkheads creating “crumple zones” providing a 360 degree additional layer of protection for the pilots
from both water intrusion and collision impact.
Access to the forward compartment of the boat is only available through a deck hatch, leaving no open access for water to enter the cockpit at the pilot level to cause hydraulic related injuries. Pilot placement inside the cockpit ensures the
maximum protection from water impact and collision, with the pilots positioned with their shoulders at or below the level of the side of the deck line, within the isolated
cockpit liner. A polycarbonate wind screen provides secure protection from wind and water while providing outstanding visibility. Full support seats are mounted on a shock absorber system, providing nearly four inches of compressive travel in
addition to the seat cushioning, in addition to a slight recline or 3-5 degrees to reduce the perceived impact transmitted to the pilots. Passive restraints are
available.

The IQ3 Display Dash can be utilized with any of Racepak’s V-Net data loggers, providing a compact, fully programmable LCD digital dash for use in a variety of
motorsports. Progressive shift lights, eight warning lights and all inputs are easily programmable through the DataLink II software.
A single V-Net cable is routed to the rear of the dash, providing power and access to all sensor information transmitted to the data logger. Up to 24 different sensor
inputs may be displayed on a total of four programmable pages. The blue backlight provides excellent viewing for both daylight and night time usage, while the low
luster display screen provides excellent protection against scratches.
