In this edition of the newsletter, you will embark on a journey that will enable you to enjoy a variety of stories, recipes, letters and other forms of creative writing produced by our students. You could begin by thinking about your future; reading about P.6 students’ dream jobs will make you think about what you want to be when you grow up. Stay at school and learn about P.2 students’ dream schools! Or you could read about what P.4 students like doing in their spare time and get outside! If you’re feeling hungry, don’t forget to check out P.3 students’ recipes. The pieces of work that have been included in this newsletter demonstrate the high standard of work across all year groups; when you read them, you will be inspired by their originality and creativity. A Pizza
First, wash the mushrooms and vegetables.
Then, cut the mushrooms and vegetables
into small pieces and put them on the
bread.
Next, put some cheese on it.
Finally, put the bread in the oven for 5
minutes.
Sit down and enjoy it.
Rice with Tomato and Mushrooms
First cut the tomato, mushrooms
and ham into small pieces.
Then put them into a bowl and mix
them.
Next put the rice into a pan and
fry it for 5 minutes.
Finally mix the tomato, mushrooms
and ham with the rice.
Sit down and enjoy your rice.
An Open Sandwich
First, wash the onion and
mushrooms.
Next, cut them into small
pieces.
Then put them on the bread.
Put the cheese and ham on
the bread.
Put the bread in the oven.
Take it out after 5 minutes.
Sit down and enjoy it.
A Salad
First, wash the vegetables.
Next, cut the mushrooms
and ham into small pieces.
Then put them into a bowl.
Add some salad dressing
and mix them.
Sit down and enjoy your
salad.
A Yummy Mixed Fruit Juice First wash the apples, pears and oranges.
Then cut them into thin slices.
Next put the apple, pear and orange slices on the edge
of a glass to decorate it.
Then put the rest of the slices into a blender and blend
them for 2 minutes.
After that pour the juice into the glass.
Finally sit down and enjoy the mixed fruit juice.

In my dream school, there are six classrooms. The computer room is on the fifth floor. The art room is on the fourth floor. The library is on the third floor. The playground is on the ground floor. The music room is on the second floor. I like the big garden. It is on the fourth floor. In the garden, we must keep off the grass. We mustn’t hit others or litter. I like the canteen too. We must wait for our turn. We mustn’t jump the queue. We are happy to stay at school. I love my dream school.
In my dream school, there are nine floors. There is an art room, a computer room, two music rooms, classrooms, a canteen, a library, a playground, a sky garden and an English room. The computer room is on the first floor. The art room is on the fifth floor. The sky garden is on the seventh floor. The pupils in my dream school are happy and attentive.
This is my dream school. My dream school is a DIY school. The DIY room is on the fourth floor. The library is on the sixth floor. The computer room is on the fifth floor. The music room and garden are on the third floor. The toilet is on the second floor. The classrooms are on the first floor. The playground is on the ground floor.

My dream school

P.4 I like playing basketball at weekends. I
always play basketball at the basketball
court. It is an outdoor activity. It’s good
for our health. I often play football with
my friends. I like it because I can make
new friends too. I can also learn how to
cooperate with others.
I also like watching TV in my free time. It
is an indoor activity. I sometimes watch
TV for two to three hours at home alone.
I know it has a bad influence on my eyes
but the cartoons are very entertaining. I
will try to reduce the time I spend
watching TV. I will spend more time
reading books. It is more interesting and
better for my eyes.
In my spare time, I like playing
football. It is an outdoor activity. I like
playing football on the football pitch.
On Sundays I always play football with
Dad. This is a healthy activity. Why do
I like playing football? It is because I
like sports.
I also like reading storybooks in my
free time. It is an indoor activity. I like
reading storybooks in the library on
Saturdays. I like this activity because it
is interesting.
In my spare time, I like playing
computer games. I always play
computer games in the morning
alone. Playing computer games is not
a healthy activity because I sit in
front of the computer for a long
time. However, I still like it because
when I play computer games, I feel
happy.
I also like playing basketball in my
free time. I often play basketball in
the afternoon with my sister. Playing
basketball is a healthy activity
because I can run and exercise my
body.

P.6 I want to be a lawyer when I grow up because it is challenging. If I become a lawyer, I will work in court and help people with their legal problems. Lawyers need to be smart so that they can represent clients in court. They need to be patient too. They need to listen to people’s problems patiently so that they can help them with their legal problems. They also need to be hard-working so that they can solve different cases. I think this job is suitable for me because I am good at communicating with people and enjoy helping people. I am hard-working and patient too. I am going to study hard. I hope I can be a lawyer in the future.
My dream job

My dream job is a doctor because I want to help sick people to become healthier. I want to be a doctor when I grow up because it is meaningful and challenging. If I become a doctor, I will cure sick people. I will help people who are ill or in trouble. I can earn a lot of money. I can also help my parents when they are sick. In my spare time, I will do some voluntary work too. Doctors need to be patient so that they can listen to their patients carefully. They need to be attentive too. They need to be caring so that they can understand patients’ problems. They need to be smart so that they can cure sick people. I think this job is suitable for me because I am patient and caring. I am smart and attentive too. Starting from today, I will read more books because doctors are required to know the human body well. Also, I have to study English very hard because most of the medical terms are in English. In order to become a doctor, I have to make a constant effort. I have to love and serve those who are sick. I need to study hard so I can become an excellent doctor.

I want to be a pastry chef when I grow up because it is interesting and challenging. If I become a pastry chef, I will make yummy desserts. If I make yummy desserts, I will make people feel happy. Pastry chefs need to be creative so that they can have more ideas for new desserts. They need to be hard-working too. They need to be patient so that they can make their desserts perfect. I think this job is suitable for me because I am creative and hard-working. I am patient too. I hope I can be a pastry chef someday.
I want to be a fashion designer when I grow up because it is interesting. If I become a fashion designer, I will design beautiful clothes. If I design beautiful clothes, I will be famous. Fashion designers need to be creative so that they can design beautiful clothes. They need to be hard-working too. They need to be smart so that they can learn how to make clothes. I think this job is suitable for me because I am creative. I am smart too. I hope I can be a fashion designer someday. I will study hard to make my dream come true.
