1946
• The ENAIC was made in 1946
1947
• John Bardeen, Walter Brattian, and William Shockley invent the first transistor at the Bell Laboratories
1947
• ISQ is founded
1948
• IBM builds the SSEC (Selective Sequence Electric Calculator.)
1949
• Claude Shannon builds the first machine that can play chess.
1950
• The first electronic computer is created in Japan by Hideo Yamachito.
The Flow
Step 1
• The information goes into the computer through an input device(mouse, keyboard, etc.).
Step 2
• The information then goes to the micro processor to be fetched, decoded, and executed.
Fetch
• Transistors fetch the information.
Decode
• The transistors then decodes the fetched information and calls for which operation is called for.
Execute
• The command then gets executed. Then it goes to memory.
Step 3
• The executed information then goes to memory.

• And to an output device(monitor, printer) for the command to be executed .
