The PSLE Aggregate Score

Self-Control Perseverance Responsibility Integrity National Pride Gratefulness

T-Score

Self-Control Perseverance Responsibility Integrity National Pride Gratefulness

Gracious School , Life-long Learners

What is T-Score?• T-score is not the mark that a student

obtains in the examination• It gives the relative position of a student’s

performance as compared to theperformance of all the other students inthat subject

• A raw score of 85 marks in English and 85marks in Mother Tongue may beconverted to different T-scores

Self-Control Perseverance Responsibility Integrity National Pride Gratefulness

Gracious School , Life-long Learners

Calculation of T-Score foreach subject

whereX: student’s mark for the subjectY: average mark (mean) scored by all

studentsZ: spread of marks around the

average mark (standard deviation)

T = 50 + 10 (X – Y)Z
