The Pennsylvania Saddlebred Horse Association (PSHA) is a registered
charter club of the American Saddlebred Horse Association. PSHA was es-
tablished in the early 80’s and is proud to have members in multiple states.
We are honored to have been named ASHA’s Charter Club of the Year in
2005.
The American Saddlebred is the ultimate show horse as well as a truly en-
joyable pleasure mount. They are a spectacle of beauty and grace with their
high-stepping and elegant movement. American Saddlebreds possess that
people-oriented quality known as personality, endearing them to their own-
ers and admirers. Their conformation makes them very comfortable to ride
and their animation, speed, intelligence and powerful muscling make them
very exciting. The versatile Saddlebred has excelled in many non-traditional
disciplines such as dressage, eventing, show jumping, combined driving and
endurance, as well as recreational and competitive trail riding.
Our mission is to promote this incredible breed at the local level. We spon-
sor classes at more than 20 regional horse shows, participate in regional ex-
positions and manage the Keystone Classic Horse Show at the scenic Quen-
tin Riding Club.
PSHA hopes you will join us in promoting the horse America made– the
American Saddlebred!
