is a high quality, outside mechanical seal mainly used in the chemical industry. The available corrosion resistant materials like carbon, teflon filled ceramic, glass filled teflon, ceramic or silicon carbide which are in contact with the pumped fluid offer wide usages without need for expensive alloys.

is also largely used in pumps with small stuffing boxes, were conventional seals don’t fit.The pressure balancing maximizes through lower friction and wear the service life of the seal.Through the outside mounting, visuell inspection and cleaning is possible without disassembling the pump.

PACK STYLE PS - Pack Agitator Seals are specially designed for use in vibratory equipments such as agitators, mixters, blowers etc.The seal unit is supplied in cartridge condition, pre-assembled and pre-set to required working dimensions which can be slide on the shaft and bolted to vessel flange.These seals are available with or without bearings and can be provided with cooling jackets in case of high temperature applications.Incase of double seals faces are to be provided with circulation for pressurised fluid in the seal chamber as per API plan 53 or 54.For higher pressure applications balanced seals are provided.
