Process Main Features
•Simple process
•Selective H2S Removal produces elemental sulphur in bed
•Chemical reaction: H2S + O2 S + H2O
•Several configurations possible as Lead/Lag, multiple absorbers, etc. depending on
optimized requirements, Absorbent Life.
•High specific loading of absorbent possible (>60% W/W)
•Non pyrophoric O2 addition in the range of some ppm (10-30 ppm depending on H2S
concentration)
