What is PACS Web Viewing?

Most radiology images captured at BIDMC are stored in electronic form in a Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS). PACS Web Viewing allows these images to be viewed using a PC and a Web Browser conveniently from home or office. PACS images displayed via the web are for reference only and are not approved for primary diagnostic use.
