BAHRAIN FOR ALL, ALL FOR BAHRAIN (BHR4ALL)- DIVERSITY, HARMONY & UNITYConsultNivs is an all-inclusive non-political, non-religious and non-profitable organisation. ConsultNivs works with traditional family values of caring for each other, while being empathetic to the organisation's needs as well as the community without leaving any one person behind.
The purpose of ConsultNivs is to have genuine and profound impact in the region utilising corporate CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) budgets. The year round activities are managed by Nivedita Dhadphale, Usman Mohammed, and Salman Amjad.
"Bahrain for All, All for Bahrain" was conceptualized in 2011 by Nivedita Dhadphale. As the name itself says, it is an organization which focuses on 'all' groups
rather than 'small and specific' groups in this community.
The idea is to mobilise different communities from all walks of life in Bahrain to showcase their culture and abilities as well as highlight their strength of "unity in diversity and inclusivity" in Bahrain.
To connect with different segments of society, BH4All created the following under their umbrella:1. BHR4All Seniors2. BHR4All Special3. BHR4All Peace One Day4. BHR4All Universal Children’s Day5. BHR4All News (monthly with Bahrain This Week)6. BHR4All Women
7. BHR4All Entrepreneurs8. BHR4All (Annual Main Event)9. BHR4All Health and Wellness.
"I have had the privilege to work with differently abled men, women and children since I was a teenager, gaining an insight into a distinctive world, a world where everything seems so perfect. But it is also a world of boredom, a world of rejection and a world of social isolation and incomprehensible cruelty and also the world which many may fail to understand.
Across the globe, deeply entrenched cultural attitudes and definitions serve to assign a negative connotation to this difference (disability) thus reinforcing the sense of alarm and despondency.
Estimates of the prevalence of intellectual disabilities range from 1% to 3% of the population, depending on whether persons with mild forms of intellectual disabilities are included.
An estimated of 40% of adults with intellectual disabilities are not known to the service system." Nivedita Dhadphale detailed about her initiative.
The 7th edition of BHR4All 2018 was conducted on Friday 30th March 2018. 45 communities together including MOI Directorates, embassies, social clubs, special centres and NGOs conducted this event. 250 market stalls including productive families and Bahraini entrepreneurs and 12+ special needs centres participated in this event. Media recorded an attendance of over 55,000.

CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIESCompliance of the Strategy with the UN Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities was ratified by Bahrain on August 22, 2011 strengthened the rights of persons living with disabilities. It adopts a
human rights and development approach to disability which focuses on the removal of barriers to equal participation and the elimination of discrimination based on disability. It takes to a new height the movement from viewing persons with disabilities as “objects” of charity, medical treatment and social protection towards viewing persons with disabilities as “subjects” with rights, who are capable of claiming those rights and making
decisions for their lives based on their free and informed consent as well as being active members of society.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALSIn September 2015, the UN adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of 17 goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new global sustainable development agenda. Each goal has specific targets to be achieved over the next 15 years.
The 2030 Agenda is much more inclusive – the words “disability” or “persons with disabilities” are specifically mentioned 11 times in the Resolution (70/1), as well as in targets for Goals 4, 8, 10, 11 and 17. Of course, the universal
nature of the Agenda means that all Goals and targets are relevant for people with disability, as for any other group of people.
In 2018 ConsultNivs announced KHK Heroes under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khaled bin HamedAl Khalifa. The first event was an exhibition fight between His Highness and 19 year old Down Syndrome Mohammed Buhaza on 11th November at the Khalifa sports city for the opening ceremony of Brave 18. For 3 weeks Mohammed was trained by His Highness Khaled’s trainers at his personal gym.
This was an international platform and a historical event. BH4 All reaches out to audience through the monthly features in Bahrain This Week

Vridhi Mathur, a law student from the Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai has briefly worked with BHR4All in one of her semester breaks. She details her unique and life changing experiences while working with BHR4All.
It all began on a windy cold night, when I met Nivedita Dhadphale who is the founder BHR4All- at Caribou and we decided to get along for few things coming up our way. She got me to work with ‘Bahrain for ALL’ (BHR4All) which is a Non-Profit Institution. As the name says, it is an organization, which focuses on ‘all’ groups rather than ‘small and specific’ groups in this community. The basic aim is to mobilise different societies of life in Bahrain to showcase their culture and abilities at the same time outshine their abilities and talents.
I can’t thank her enough for everything that she got me to do. I started
off by going to the Hidd Rehabilitation Center for Special Needs where I met the kids and interacted with them. It gave me an opportunity to realize how life could be hard and that we all should be very thankful for all that we have in our lives and not complaint about the smallest things that we lack.
During the intern I learned about something called the ‘Art Therapy’, which is commonly used to treat the cases of sexual harassment or any kind of abuse to these special aid kids. This therapy is mainly used because these kids explain the best through art since most of them are unable to speak properly and some are unable to move their bodies to express. These kids do require a special shelter by the countries because they are very prone to the crimes that take place in the society since they are both physically and mentally weak.
It feels really joyful to be around
the kids because they are so welcoming and they try their best to make you comfortable around them. Personally, it became my routine to go and meet them; each day would be a new day and they would also look forward to meeting me and doing something new. These kids showcase immense hidden talents like drawing, playing instruments and their interests in cars etc., which really fascinated me.
I also got an opportunity to meet the Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, Mr. Alok Kumar Sinha for two of the events held in the Indian Embassy of Bahrain namely the ‘Indo-Bahrain Youth Exchange Programme’ and the ‘Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2019’. It was a great pleasure interacting with him and getting to know about him. I am also very thankful to him and his work which has got the whole of the Indian community in Bahrain together and united.
I also met with Ms. Nancy Khedouri, who is a member of the Bahrain Shura Council, Politician, Businesswoman and a Writer. In 2010, Nancy Khedouri became a member of the National Assembly of Bahrain. She is of a very friendly, jolly and kind nature. She had studied law too and that she also supports the BHR4All work whole heartedly.
Overall, it has been an amazing journey for past one month and I fully enjoyed working in different fields and getting to learn as much as I can. This experience help me gain a lot of knowledge about how these centers work and what are the aspects kept in mind by them to help the special need children grow as youths and adults in their life which further helps them move on and motivates them to learn more every day. The most important thing that I learned was the value of life and how we should cherish every moment that we get.
