New Microwindows

Nov05 Bug found in Jacobian spectra used to compute previous set of 2RR microwindows (301-330)

Forgot to include AILS convolution so

Error analysis over-optimistic, especially at high altitude

However, quite reasonable retrievals have been obtained

Selection of new set now in progress (331-340)

pT Microwindows

H2O Microwindows

CH4 Microwindows

Conclusions

Microwindow Selection & LUTs - complete for first 10MWs for pT, H2O, CH4 and N2O

Large pT random error at 1.5km vertical resolution dominates error budget of other species - ignored during MW selection

Random and other systematic errors for species seem acceptable, even at 1.5km resolution.
