The study tour organised under MIDH and ATMA scheme was flagged off from Khelleni Zone by MLA Doda Shakti Parihar in presence of Chief Horticulture Officer (CHO) Doda Madan Lal and HDO Assar Rahat Bashir. "A group of 20 farmers were sent on study tour 'Training of farmers within satate' for five days to Kashmir Valley to get latest knowledge about training, pruning and other nursery and orchard management techniques," said CHO Doda, adding that the orchardists are accompanied with our HDO Assar Rahat Bashir to give them proper knowledge and training. During five-days tour, the orchardist will visit SKAUST-K, Fish Farming Institute, CITH and other government farms and nurs- eries.
