PageScope Account Manager

As one of the modules of the PageScope Enterprise Suite, the Account Manager is dedicated to comprehensive print output and cost control.

The PageScope Account Manager provides print-intensive environments with the means to self-assess their print costs and enforce simple cost management procedures such as establishing print budgets and increasing print cost transparency, thus limiting unnecessary printing. In addition to print management, the Account Manager also provides central tracking and monitoring of all copying, scanning and faxing activities.

The Account Manager facilitates cost assignment and chargeback, provides the necessary tools for efficient budget and quota management, and enables detailed output and cost reporting. As a scalable and affordable solution, the Account Manager supports from one to several hundred devices, making this an ideal tool for any enterprise with the need for central output control.

KEY FEATURES Cost assignment & chargeback

– Automatic tracking: Via the central counter collection,

all copy, print, scan and fax activities can automatically be tracked for users, groups, cost centres or projects.

– Flexible cost allocation: Users can be linked to a certain cost centre or can individually select the appropriate cost centre or project before printing.

– Synchronisation with Active Directory: The user group structure can be synchronised with the Active Directory including group hierarchies. This enables consistent user administration and account management between existing user directories and the PageScope Account Manager.

– Accurate print cost calculation: Multiple pricing tables can be assigned to individual devices or groups of similar devices, allowing the accurate calculation of print costs for a heterogeneous print infrastructure.

– Print Log Tool: Print job tracking for non-Konica Minolta printers is supported via this central tool so that the whole printing infrastructure can easily be covered.

Budget & quota management – Flexible quota assignment: Separate quotas for

printing in colour and for black & white printing can be easily assigned to individual users or user groups.

– Periodical quota reset: Quotas can automatically be reset on a periodical basis. To enable exceptional printing, the administrator can also manually reset and change quotas.

– Automatic notification: The system can be set to notify users automatically when they have reached a certain threshold of their quota (for example 80%) and again when their quota is exhausted.

Detailed output reporting – Wizard-based output reporting: Users can choose

from a wide range of parameters and originators.– Report creation: By selecting from more than 30

preconfigured report components, comprehensive output reports in PDF format can be compiled within seconds.

– Easy cross-referencing: Cross-referencing between cost centres and users enhances overall transparency.

– Export of report results: For accounting purposes, report results can conveniently be exported into various formats (xls, xlsx, csv, xml).

– Scheduling function: Reporting can also be automated using this convenient scheduling function.
