GOD DRAWS ___________________ TO US IN OUR PAIN.
John 11:2-4 “Lazarus, was sick. So the two sisters sent a message to Jesus
telling him, ‘Lord, your dear friend is very sick.’ But when Jesus heard
about it he said, ‘Lazarus’s sickness will not end in death. No, it happened
for the glory of God so that the Son of God will receive glory from this.’”
GOD HAS A PLAN AND _____________________ FOR OUR PAIN.
John 11:5-6 “So although Jesus loved Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, he stayed
where he was for the next two days.”
John 11:17 “When Jesus arrived at Bethany… Martha said to Jesus, ‘Lord,
if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now
I know that God will give you whatever you ask.’”
John 11:23-26 “Jesus told her, ‘Your brother will rise again.’”
GOD WANTS TO SHOW HIMSELF ___________________ THAN OUR PAIN.
John 11:27 “She said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord; I have believed that You are the
Christ, the Son of God, even He who comes into the world.’”
John 11:33-35 “When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews who
came with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and was
troubled, and said, ‘Where have you laid him?’ They said to Him, ‘Lord,
come and see.’ Jesus wept…”
John 11:38-40 “So Jesus, again being deeply moved within, came to the
tomb… Jesus said, ‘Remove the stone.’ Martha, the sister of the deceased,
said to Him, ‘Lord, by this time there will be a stench, for he has been dead
four days.’ Jesus said to her, ‘Did I not say to you that if you believe, you
will see the glory of God?’”
John 11:41-44 “… Then Jesus raised His eyes, and said, ‘Father, I thank You
that You have heard Me. I knew that You always hear Me…’ He cried out
with a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come forth.’ The man who had died came
forth, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped
around with a cloth. Jesus said to them, ‘Unbind him, and let him go.'”
