The pallet shuttle storage systemovercomes this by storing pallets withina system that can operate to greaterdepths. The racking featuresguide/support rails which run the depthof the rack structure on which anautomated shuttle travels.
Increased EfficiencyPallets are loaded onto a shuttle at thefront of the lane which transports thepallet down to the other end. The in-built sensors on the shuttle detect theposition of previous pallets and placesthe new load at a predetermineddistance from them, before returning
to the start face.

Unique High-Density FunctionalityThe pallet shuttle operates in FILO(First in – Last Out) mode, allowingracking to be set up against a wall of awarehouse thereby gaining space orwith FIFO (First In – First Out) using asystem that offers separate entrancesand exits. This method allows for theloading to be done from one side witha forklift truck and the unloading onthe opposite side with another.The system automates the placementof pallets in the storage lane, reducingloading and unloading cycle times.

operates. The shuttle is easily moved
between lanes by a standard fork lift truck.
Damage ReductionIn Drive-In racking, the shuttle removesthe need for fork lift trucks to enter theracking structure, this reduces loadingand unloading times and the risk ofstructural damage, whilst releasing thedriver to start the next operationsooner.
