PARISH NEWS From our Pastor…. Today we celebrate Palm Sunday, remembering Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Back in the day, people laid down palms or tree branches as a sign of honor when to a very important person entered the town. Palms are a Jewish symbol of victory and peace. Incidentally, Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a don-key which is a sign of humility and peace, rather than riding in on a horse which would symbolize power and war. Please consider attending one of the parish Penance Services this week at 7p.m.: Tonight (Sunday) at St. Isidore, Monday at St. Anthony and Tuesday at St. Bon’s. I encourage everyone to attend one or more of the holiest days of the liturgical year--Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. Please see the bulletin for liturgy times. This year, we have five candidates who will be welcomed into the Catholic Church on Holy Saturday: Nicole Bailey, Kendra Fuerhoff, Kathy Mull, Micah Lane and Deb Ohnoutka. Please make these folks feel at home when you see them.

TRI-PARISH YOUTH MINISTER We need a new tri-parish youth minister. If you are interested, submit a resume to Fr. Del Lape, Fr. Joe Miksch or Fr. Mike Swanton.

three times that you know me. “ (Luke 22:34)

How many times have you heard someone make a disparaging comment about Jesus or the Catholic faith? How do you react? AROUND THE AREA

unidos a Dios.

Bendiciones Padre Gregorio.
