Bournda National ParkBournda ‘place of tea tree and kangaroo’. Trek the scenic Kangarutha Track, or picnic at the gorgeous nook of Turingal Head picnic area.Bournda Lagoon is also an ideal spot where kids can swim, play and picnic among the paper barks. Sandy Creek loop walk - Bournda Lagoon The walk follows the edge of the lagoon to Bournda Island beforeheading inland along Sandy Creek. It passes through exquisite coastal habitats including pockets of rainforest. Distance: 6km loop Grade: ModerateAccess: Follow signs to Bournda. The track commences from Bournda Lagoon carpark.

Travel Facts Northern entry point - leave the Princes Hwy on Bermagui Rd approx. 1Kms south of Tilba Tilba turn offSouthern entry point - leave the Princes Hwy at Pambula Village (15 kms North of Eden)Distance - The route travels for approx. 90km and is a great alternative to taking the Princess Highway through the Sapphire Coast’s regional centre of Bega when travelling between Tilba Tilba and Pambula. All main roads are sealed with great facilities and services at Bermagui, Tathra, Merimbula and Pambula.

Mimosa Rocks National Park If you love camping, fishing, surfing, canoeing, birdwatching or bushwalking then the 20 kilometres of pristine coastline in Mimosa Rocks National Park is waiting. Watch eerie sea mists roll in at Gillards Beach. Explore the sea caves, cliffs, natural volcanic rock sculptures and lagoons. Secluded camping areas are a gorgeous place to call home for a few days.Location: Tathra and north Access: Off the Tathra-Bermagui Rd. WalksMiddle Beach Walking Track This 1.5km track links Middle Beach to Penders and is dotted with ancient burrawangs (south coast cycads) and there’s a very good chance you’ll spot a wallaby or kangaroo.Distance: 1.5km each wayGrade: Easy Access: Turn east off Bermagui-Tathra Road onto Haighs Road and follow to the end of the road to the carpark.Wajurda Point Walking Track This 1km return trip takes you through shady eucalypt forest to arrive at a lookout perched high up on the headland and treats you to ample views of turquoise ocean. Wajurda Point lookout is a terrific place to watch whales during winter and spring, so bring your binoculars. Distance: 1km returnGrade: Easy Access: From Tathra, follow the Tathra-Bermagui Road. Turn right onto Nelson Lake Road and follow the signs to Moon BayMimosa Rocks Walking Track This is a great walk for kids. The boardwalk crosses over the largest Aboriginal midden in the park. Distance: 2kms returnGrade: Easy Access: Turn east off Bermagui- Tathra Road onto Aragunnu Road and follow to the end of the road to the carpark.

ed Ben Boyd National Park History, mystery, wildlife, spectacular geology and entrepreneurial folly - this park stretching from Pambula to the Green Cape Light Station has it all. In the northern reaches of the park near Pambula you’ll find excellent surf, fishing and kid friendly swimming at the mouth of the Pambula River. From here it’s a 5km scenic bushwalk or you can drive on an unsealed but well maintained road to Haycock Point for wide panoramic coastal views and endless rockpools to explore. Just off the Haycock Point access road you can find The Pinnacles - a spectacular 65 million year old erosion feature with cliffs of soft white sands capped with a layer of red gravel clay.Access: The park is accessible from two sections: via Haycock Road 8kms north of Eden off the Princes Highway and 25kms south of Eden on Edrom Road. http://bit.ly/benboyd

This is a popular spot for swimming and fishing. Distance: 1km loop Grade: Easy Access: Follow signs off Haycock RoadHaycock Point to Barmouth Beach Haycock Point offers up endless coastal views north and south as well as plenty of fascinating rock pools to explore.
