As the recipient of the LDEI Legacy Award, Stacy Dixon, Marketing and Culinary Manager of Frontera Foods, will head to Dallas and work with Paula Lambert, Founder/President of the Mozzarella Cheese Company.

NAHA and Carrie and Michael Nahabedian will be doing a promotion this September at the Four Seasons Hotel Sultanhamet in Istanbul, featuring the cuisine, desserts, and drinks of the Mediterranean in this amazing city on the Bosporus.

Carrie Nahabedian also spent a great week in hot, sun-ny, and beautiful Marco Island, Florida, at her parents home. With her were Sarah Stegner, her husband Rohit and daughter Jaya as well as Les Dames long distance member Linda Calafiore. Carrie is taking her nephew Zach-ary Miller, who has a graduated from the University of Il-linois this past quarter, on an African Safari as part of the

Talking PointsSmithsonian Journeys to South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Victoria Falls.

On Friday evening, July 20th, Della Gossett of the French Pastry School and Jolene Worthington of Eli’s Cheesecake conducted a demonstration and tasting at Treasure Island’s cooking school at 2121 North Clybourne Avenue.
