PANCHAYAT AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT MINISTER

The State Government has sanctioned Rs 26 lakh for the developmental works in the rural areas of Nagar Panchayat Kurud in Dhamtari district. The

amount has been sanctioned under the Backward Region Development Authority.

An amount of Rs 16 lakh 84 thousand has already been released for the works. The amount has been sanctioned at the initiative of the Panchayat

and Rural Development Minister Mr. Ajay Chandrakar.

Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ajay Chandrakar has always paid attention to encourage the works of self help groups such as Jhansi Lakshmi Bai. The group currently has 12 members. Under the National

Rural Livelihood Mission group the main aim is the women's empowerment.

The members are also working towards self-sufficiency. The activities being conducted by members are monitored by Ajay Chandrakar. With

this yojana, people are group to benefit from the state government.

Two districts of the state Bastar (Jagdalpur) and South Bastar (Dantewada) under PMGSY for quality testing in the construction of roads on national quality review. The senior officials will monitor the

construction work in the different phases of the work.

Under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGA), people can get regular 'day jobs'. Day jobs through the employment

directive and the date of application with an application acknowledgment proceedings, including the ten points of the article was to be ensured.
