Description:
The Africa Business Panel is a panel of African Business professionals that like to contribute to the wish of reliable data on the African economic development. We quote: Jerven, a professor at Simon Fraser University in Canada: many of the numbers which are circulated in official documents, outside assessments and the media are wrong. “Many economic activities are unrecorded. With much of its economies informal, many African countries have richer citizens than statistics indicate. Shanta Devarajan, Chief Economist for the Africa Region of the World Bank, speaks about the urgent need to address the shortcomings of development statistics... We do provide the alternative.
