How many schools come?250,000 students visited the Museum in 2012-13 of whom 130,583 were from UK schools
What ages visit?About 80% of UK school visitors are from primary schools, the vast majority of these in Key Stage 2 (7-11 years), with a growing number at Key Stage 1 and younger.
What do schools do?Almost all schools work in the galleries, led by their teachers. About 35,000 students take part in our taught programme.
