PAN.• Students taking a high school mathematics course?
You may edit the test code in SIS if any student will take a course-based (high school) test (i.e., ALG01, ALG02, or GEO01) instead of the default PARCC grade-based test.

Test Session Names can be created through a batch upload in SIS or PAN.21Whole Child • Whole School • Whole Community

names to PAN in order to auto-create test sessions in PAN.
• Once a test session name is sent to PAN from SIS, it may be edited only in PAN directly.
• Test session names will be sent to PAN starting with the February 16 transmission.

Common Issues Occurring During Test Administration
• Students receive a test with incorrect accommodations.
• Students transfer in or transfer out.
• Special format tests require school staff to transcribe answers onto a standard test booklet or answer document.
• Students are to have a test read to them (online administration) but teacher test form and student test form do not match.
• Incorrect directions administered in grade 7 math or course-based (high school) math assessments.

TestNav Expected BehaviorsNot all problems have error messages, and not
all problems are technical issues.• The TestNav Expected Behaviors document is available on Avocet. It is
designed to help users who encounter behaviors in TestNav that are different than anticipated or do not appear to be working properly, but are non-critical limitations or are working as designed.
Examples:• The Notepad cannot be resized• The Exhibit cannot be resized• Students cannot Copy/Paste passage text in ELA assessments, only text that
they write themselves• A question still appears as Not Answered in the Review menu unless all parts of
the question are answered• The Magnifier tool will not magnify the display on the TI-84 Graphing Calculator
Student Test with Incorrect Accommodations
• If a test has been started, the test units have to be marked complete, the test voided, and a new test assigned with the correct accommodations.
• You CANNOT void a unit and assign the correct accommodations to the test.
