Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers.

• The subjects that are tested will be: –Reading – 3 sessions–Mathematics – 2 sessions

PARCC???Where do we take this test? You will take the PARCC tests

in a classroom.

When are we taking this test? – 8th Grade: March 11th - March 17th.

– 7th Grade: March 18th - March 24th.

PARCC???How do we take the PARCC test?• Each student will complete each session

of the PARCC test on the computer.

Why do we take this test? We take this test to see if we are • “On track in our learning” • “On track for success after high school”

and for • “tools to help our teachers customize learning

to meet student needs”

THE NIGHT BEFORE the PARCC tests…

• Go to bed on time.• Solve any problems that you are having with

your family or friends before the day of the test.• Talk to your parents about any concerns or

worries that you might have about the test.

• Eat a good breakfast.
