Classroom Economy

Students are participating in a classroom economy. There are many ways to earn class cash in our classroom economy. Hard work, responsibility, good behavior, and academic achievements are rewarded in our classroom economy. At the end of the 9 weeks all students will be participating in a class auction. Students will be able to spend their star bucks for rewards. From this system, students learn many responsibility lessons. They learn to keep track of their star bucks, and not to lose it. They learn how to save up for things that are important to them, instead of spending everything at once. They also learn the value of earning star bucks instead of just being given things for free. They take more pride in their work, behavior, and in taking responsibility for their actions.

reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance. Because attendance is so critical for the quality of your child's education, Texas has a Compulsory Attendance Law
