    Homework Policy

    Homework Folder Homework will be placed in the homework folder to be done at

    home.

    The homework will only require materials that are used in the

    classroom, such as books and worksheets. This homework will be due at the beginning of class every day

    and should take no more that 40 minutes to complete athome.

    Please help the child with homework when it is needed, but

    allow them to think through problems by themselves as well. Parents must sign off on the childs agenda book every day, to

    ensure good communication with the teacher.

    I will not accept late homework, unless excused for illness,death in the family, or any other emergency.

    Special Classroom Events

    I will have a sign up sheet for events, and please sign

    up! I welcome parents help with these events!

    There will be no junk food allowed at these events (or in

    my classroom), so we will be making healthy snacks.

    Please feel free to send in healthy items (fruit,

    vegetables, etc.) for your childs birthday!

    If you do not feel comfortable having your child celebrate

    birthdays or seasonal events, please feel free to send

    me an email.
