Writing Prompts• Scored using the NJ Registered Holistic
Scoring Rubric (a 5-point scale).• Scores will be doubled, for a maximum

Writing – Informative/ Explanatory
Two types1) Introduces a topic or2) Uses a poem to introduce a topic.
