Students study a variety of subjects in Year 10 including core subjects English, Maths, Science Physical Education and Personal Development. Optional subjects include, Business, Food, Health, History, Geography, Computing, Enterprise, ICT, Physical Education, Music and Drama, Technology (including Art and Systems), Media, Modern Foreign Languages, Travel and Tourism

History AQA
History 8145
At the end of every topic or key theme (e.g. USA 1920-73, Korean War, Vietnam War) the class receive a test based on past paper exam questions. This is an Internal Assessment.
In the summer term of year 10. The class will be taught and will then complete a Mock Exam of the whole course so far. As this is a linear course, and the final exam takes place in Yr 11, this is an ideal way to kick-start a revision programme, offering students an audit of what they know and do not know.
The class will sit 2 external exams (50% weighting each) in the summer of year 11.
