STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION The good Samaritan was also a good steward, giving his time and his treasure to meet his neighbor'’ need. At the end of this familiar story, Jesus urges his hearers – and us – to go and do the same!

WORD OF LIFE BULLETIN QUOTE To understand more fully how to defend and protect human life, we must first consider who we are, at the

deepest level. God creates us in his image and likeness, which means we are made to be in loving relationship with him. The essence of our identity and worth, the source of our dignity, is that we are loved by God.”

USCCB Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities

“How to Build a Culture of Life”

SPANISH BAPTISMAL CLASS PREPARATION Today, July 14th, 2019. At 2:45 pm at the parish hall.

ADORATION When we take time out of our busy lives and give a little to our Lord, we proclaim to everyone that Jesus is truly present among us. We know the importance of prayer in our lives. Jesus asked his Apostles and now us the ques-tion: “Could you not watch one hour with Me?” A Holy Hour is spending an hour devoted to prayer in the presence of the Holy Eucharist where Jesus Christ is truly present in His body, blood, soul and divinity. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed from 1:00-8:00 p.m. every Thursday. If you would like to become a regular weekly adorer at any hour that works best for you, call

the office, 356-1532 or Concha Nieto 353-4840. Always trusting and waiting on you!

Free Pregnancy Support: Catholic Charities offers free pregnancy support services for all women regardless of age, income, marital status or religious affiliation. There are no fees for this service. If you know someone who is facing an unintended pregnancy, please ask them to contact Amy Falcon at 620-227-1590.

DOTS NEWS God has blessed our youth group and we have reached our goal! DOTS will be attending the Alive In You Catholic Conference and Service Camp July 16-21, 2019. We will be giving of our time and efforts working in various locations throughout Dallas TX. Also, during the conference portion of the week, we will be able to embrace His mercy through confession, adoration, Mass and sharing/growing in our faith with 9 other parishes from all over the United States with over 200 participants! We would like to thank you for all your support and more than ever we ask that you pray for us to be able to reflect Christ through the work of our hands and the compassion and love with which we will assist the less fortunate. May Mother Teresa of Calcutta intercede for us as we travel and do His work.

WE HAVE MASS INTENTIONS OPEN DURING THE WEEK You can request Masses for several reasons: in Thanks-giving, for the intentions of another person such as on a birthday, anniversary, for those who are sick, or as is most common, for the repose of the soul of someone who has died. One must never forget the infinite graces that flow from the Sacrifice of the Mass which benefit one’s soul. Pope Leo XIII in his encyclical "Mirae carita-tis" (1902). Please consider requesting to have a Mass said, we are begin-

ning to run low on intentions, and we do scheduling of Mass-

es in advance, even a year ahead.
