Please keep all of these intentions in your daily prayers: For our Pastor’s Intentions: * Let us pray in reparation for the sins committed by Cardinals, Bishops, Priests and Deacons against the Lord’s commandments, as well as for healing for the victims of sin. * That the Holy Spirit may give us the gift of worship and more people discover the gift of music and join our choirs. * For the youth of our parish. For our Parish Intentions: * For the Holy Spirit to fall fresh upon our parishioners and for the constant renewal of our parish. * For the salvation of souls. For the Pope’s Intentions: That politicians, scientists and economists work together to protect the world’s seas and oceans. Beginning September 5th
"Come prepared" to have a good time at SAAM's "Back to School Night" on Saturday, September 14th. "Attendance" will be taken at 6:30 pm and "dismissal" will be at 9:30. After a little "free play," we'll "line up" for some delicious Pot Luck food. (No cafeteria "mystery meat!") We'll sit next to friends, where "talking" will be encouraged! You can even "pass notes," if you like. Absolutely no "detentions"! And the only "homework" is to come back on the second Saturday in October.
Sound good? Oh, and for a special "participation grade," do bring that photo of yourself when you were a student - any age/any grade level. We'll post them on the "bulletin board" and see if we can determine "who's who" . . . "who was who"?
Please don't "skip" this fun gathering of our Social Active Adult Ministry, which is always for all persons 21 and older. Tell your friends .. bring your friends! "Extra credit" for all who do! See you at SAAM?
The Blessed Trinity Ladies Guild will meet on September 26th at 7:30 p.m. in the school’s Library. This is our first meeting after our summer break. All the ladies of the parish are invited to attend. We would love for you to be part of this rewarding ministry. The Ladies Guild does many activities during the year. Our fundraising activities include Festival Country Store, Christmas Bazaar, Mothers’ Day bake sale & bazaar, and monthly Bunco games. The money made goes back to the Church for special items. For example, the Tabernacle, the Monstrance used to display the Consecrated Host at Adoration and Benediction, albs for Altar Servers and many more. The ladies also sponsor a Respect Life Baby Shower, participate in the Prayer Ministry, remember our deceased members at special Masses and enjoy a Lenten Evening of Reflection with one of our priests or deacons.
Please consider becoming a member! Joining does not require dues, and everyone is not expected to participate in every activity.
