BRIEF
Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM), Madurai, Tamil Nadu with District Rural Development Agency, Ramanathapuram is organising a national level design competition. We want the participants to unleash their creative potential.This competition encourages students to create unconventional and exceptional designs. The aim is to let your imagination run wild and design a breathtaking traditional eco-friendly bio park in Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu.
In this competition, we ask you to come up with a visionary concept for Eco Friendly Bio Park. It is essential that each proposal emphasizes, respects and celebrates the traditionalism of Tamil Nadu, while providing visitors with a unique experience. The eco friendly bio park aims to promote sustainability and act as a support for rural livelihoods. The pull factor for the bio park is the traditional Food Court, display and sales of the farm produce, handicrafts etc depicting Ramanathapuram’s culture and heritage. To enhance the value proposition a boating facility has to be offered . The visitors of the bio park should have unique experience within a remarkable landscape to get engaged with the eco system. The fundamental aspects of a Eco Friendly Bio Park should be incorporated into the design. This competition has no constraints and the brief is open to interpretation.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
REQUIREMENTS
FORMAT
1. Concept and design process2. Layout Plan in A3 Size paper3. A brief textual explanation of the design.4. Two dimensional visualizations (Renders, sketches, etc.) explaining the design.5. Any other details necessary for the explanation of the design. 6. All text must be in English, with a maximum of 3000 words for project explanation with a times new roman
format, font size 12.
1. Participants shall submit a PDF file, The first page of the PDF file shall have a short profile of the participants, mentioning the college/organization name with profile and a photograph.
2. The design must be presented on one A3 sized sheet (300 ppi), landscape at the second page of the PDF file. 3. Further pages in the document shall include a brief textual explanation of the design.4. All text must be in ENGLISH, with a MAXIMUM of 3000 WORDS for project explanation. 5. You have to tag our INSTA & FB Account (@tsmmadurai) (#tsmecoparkproject) by uploading the drawing you

JUDGEMENT CRITERIAThe competition will be judged by jury of experts on the following criterion
RULES1. Registrations can be done individually or in teams of maximum 7 members.
2. Teams once formed shall not be allowed to swap with other team members.
3. Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) is the competition organizer and it reserves the right to modify the
competition schedule if deemed necessary.
4. Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) will have the full authority to publish and promote the material,
always indicating the author, who will remain the owner of the idea of the project. By participation in the
competition you allow TSM the right to publish and defuse the received material, and to modify it for adapting
the publications formats.
5. TSM can modify the contents of this document provided that the majority of participants can benefit from it.
Possible changes will be communicated in time, therefore it is highly recommended to check your registration
email, our website and social media for such alerts.
6. If any form of plagiarism is caught in the competition entry, that entry will be disqualified.
7. Contacting the jury is strictly prohibited.
8. Participant teams will be disqualified if any of the competition rules or submission requirements is not
adhered to. Participation assumes acceptance of the regulations.
9. The decision of the jury and organizers shall be final and no requests for re-evaluation shall be entertained.
10. Preliminary Design has to be submitted on or before 30th December 2020, 11.45 PM.
